After opening the 2026 BCFC season with two straight road games the Sun will host their second consecutive home contest Saturday night at the Apple Bowl when they welcome the Prince George Kodiaks.
Coming off a dominate 78-11 dismantling of the Valley Huskers in last weekends home opener, the Sun will look to keep the momentum rolling against the 1 and 2 Kodiaks.
Don’t be surprised if the Kodiaks look a tad shell shocked when they take to the grass at the Apple Bowl on Saturday night, after being beat up by the Langley Rams the previous week, 75-0 at home. The bears have given up 131 points against to 68 for over three games.
In last weeks home opener the Sun beat up the Huskers on all three fronts, offence, defence, and special teams all contributed to their second win of the season.
Back-up quarterback Marcus Christos was given the nod to start in place of the injured starter Liam Kroeger and never missed a beat scoring two TDs along the ground and throwing for 3 others.
Christos, completed 13 of 16 for 206 yds last week, is expected to start Saturday vs the Kodiaks
