The 8th Annual Okanagan Sun Scholarship Fundraiser takes place tomorrow (Thursday September 15) from 6:00pm-9:00pm at the Laurel Packinghouse in the heart of Downtown Kelowna’s Cultural District.

Over 175 players have benefited from the Sun Scholarship Fund in the past seven years.  Players have been able to continue their education at Okanagan College and UBC Okanagan while playing football at a high level.

This year the Sun have called an audible and have changed the event to SUNFEST, a wine and social event with a list of amazing prizes.  

As in years past the funds raised will be placed in the Sun Scholarship fund and will be assisted by JDS Energy & Mining, Moxies Classic Grill and Scotiabank.

Individual tickets are just $30.00* and includes two glasses of wine and appies.
