The Sun got a boost in their secondary as Jamie Turek has announced he will return for his fifth and final season in 2016.

Following the graduation of Brennan Van Nistelrooy and Wes Geisler and the departure of Cord Delinte to the University of Regina, the Sun secondary was left shorthanded.  The return of Turek gives not only the veteran leadership they need on the field with Beck Fullerton and Matt McConnell but the leadership he brings to the locker room is second to none.

In 2015 Turek continued to develop into one of the premiere defensive backs in the BCFC collecting 15 tackles, blocked a kick and picked off a pass.  Turek also shines on special teams, returning 12 punts for 225 yards including an 85 yard return for a touchdown.

Turek talks with Ryan Watters (@ryan2tswatters) about his decision to return to the Sun along with brotherhood he has developed with the current roster.
