Co-MVPs Reflect On Season

It was a heck of a regular season for Brennan Van Nistelrooy and Kyle Kawamoto.

They were named the team Co-MVPs and have been now announced as BCFC All-Stars.

Receiver Kyle Kawamoto made the list after a terrific year.  He collected 41 receptions for 1,005 yards and scored 10 touchdowns.  He becomes the first Sun receiver to hit the 1,000 yard plateau since 2008 when Matt Scheurwater hit 1,117 yards.

Defensive back Brennan Van Nistelrooy has been honoured twice by the BCFC.  First, for his work done in the secondary, he made 18 tackles, 4 assists, 2 blocked kicks, 2 knockdowns, 1 fumble recovery and a CJFL leading 6 interceptions.  Van Nistelrooy is also named the All-Star punter.  He made 47 punts, netting 1,587 yards, a net average of 33.7 yards a kick and collected 4 singles
