For the second time in three weeks linebacker Keagan Hughes has been named the BCFC Defensive Player of the Week.  In Kamloops Hughes collected five tackles, two special teams tackles, a blocked kick and a knockdown.  

Hughes helped the Sun slow the high powered Broncos offence on route to the first perfect season since 2004.  

The Sun have this weekend off for Thanksgiving, before hosting the Broncos on Sunday October 18th at 1:00pm at the Apple Bowl in one of two BCFC Semi-Final games.  This will be the first ever post season meeting between the Sun and the Broncos.
