The Sun are 10-0 for the first time since 2004

For the first time since 2004 the Sun have finished the regular season undefeated 10-0 following 51-38 victory over the Kamloops Broncos on Saturday night.

Running back Abdi Nasir-Abdi (pictured) scored a career high four touchdowns and Cam Bedore threw three majors to Kyle Kawamoto.

The Sun offensive line played an outstanding game.  Abdi rushed 17 times for 86 yards, easily his best game of his young career.

The aerial attack was all Bedore, finishing 20 of 25 for 330 yards and those three touchdowns to Kawamoto who made eight receptions for 150 yards.  With his yardage, Kawamoto reaches the 1,000 yard plateau, finishing the regular season with 1,005.

The defence recorded four sacks but did give up the most points in a game this season as the Broncos passing game had some success.  Receiver Derek Yachison reached the 1,000 yard plateau as well, becoming the third Bronco this year to reach the mark.

There will be more details when they become available.

The Sun will now host the Broncos (5-5) at the Apple Bowl on Sunday October 18th at 1:00pm in one of the BCFC Semi-Finals.  The VI Raiders will host the Langley Rams in the other semi.  The winners will play for the 2015 Cullen Cup the weekend of October 24-25.
