For the third time this season Thomas Huber is named the “BC Lions Special Teams Player of the Week.”  Saturday afternoon in Westshore the Handsworth grad collected 15 points to add to Conference lead. He connected on all three field goal attempts (30, 32 and 40) and was a perfect 6-6 in converts.  Huber also recorded seven kick-offs, averaging 46.5 yards.

His 121 points scored is the highest total in the BCFC since the 2010 season.  That year Steven Shott collected 132 points, setting a new Sun record.  Huber has a chance to break that record this weekend in Kamloops.  The BCFC All-Time high is 144 points tallied by Andrew Harris in 2009.

The Sun will head to Kamloops to face the Broncos on Saturday night at 7:00pm.
