The Sun host the Huskers for the first time since 2013

The Sun hit the halfway point of the season hosting the Valley Huskers for the first time since Week 10 the 2013 season.  These two teams will match up for the 29th time and again just three weeks after the Sun shutout the Huskers 64-0 in Chilliwack in Week 2.

The Huskers haven’t scored a point at the Apple Bowl since the 2013 Sun home opener.  That game the Sun defeated the Huskers 64-10, but the victory was overturned due to an ineligible player.  The Sun forfeited the win after the BCFC ruling, giving the Huskers a 1-0 victory.

All-Time Record – 27-1 – All-Time at the Apple Bowl – 14-1 (including 3 playoff games)

Only home loss was in 2013 due to the Sun using an ineligible player forcing the Sun to forfeit 1-0

All-Time Score – 1292 (Sun) – 232 (Huskers)
