After a win in Nanaimo, two players named best in BCFC

After their dominating win over the VI Raiders, two players have been named the BC Lions Players of the Week

Defensive Player of the Week
Defensive lineman - #72 Ryley Butler

Week 3 saw the Sun defence tie a BCFC record with 10 sacks.  Ryley Butler led the charge with three of those sacks.  He also compiled two tackles and one assist naming him the BC Lions Defensive Player of the Week.  Butler and the Sun defence has allowed just 10 points in the first three games of the season.

Special Teams Player of the Week
Kicker - #84 Thomas Huber

For the second time in three weeks the BC Lions Special Teams Player of the Week is kicker Thomas Huber.  On Saturday afternoon Huber accounted for 16 of the Sun 27 points, hitting five field goals and making one convert.  He also tallied three kick offs, averaging 58.3 yards.
