Robbie Yochim has been named the BC Football Conference’s Defensive Player of the Week after a terrific performance against the Valley Huskers.

The fifth year RSS grad intercepted two passes on Saturday and returned one of them 75 yards for a touchdown.

Yochim also made a team high four solo tackles and assisted on another.

The Sun stay on the road this week to face the Langley Rams at McLeod Park Stadium on Saturday night at 7:00pm.  The Rams are coming off a 44-36 win at home against the Vancouver Island Raiders back on Saturday night.
